About Us
Kid Tutor is an online tutoring service. Our mission is to help and inspire students from kindergarten to Grade 12 to:
- develop and improve their essential literacy and math skills through one-on-one tutoring
- increase their self-esteem through improvement in academic skills
- ignite their passion, and cultivate a positive attitude for learning in a safe, caring and fun environment
Tutor
- University student with a major in French studies
- Graduated with double Dogwood Diplomas (English & French)
- Experience working with special needs children
- Qualified tutor and trained mentor with several years of experience teaching and working with elementary and high school students in community and school settings
- Teacher Assistant for Core French 11
- Recipient of Dogwood District/Authority Scholarship
- Obtained Certificate of Achievement for British Council – Teaching Young Learners Online Course
Services
Kid Tutor provides tutoring to students from kindergarten to high school in three subjects. Charges are on an hourly or per package basis. Packages are available for 5, 10, 15, and 20 sessions.

Instructions
Instructions are tailored to the student’s learning level using level-appropriate learning activities and materials. After each session, our tutor will assess the student’s progress and discuss the learning outcome with the parent or guardian.
